Including 3rd party python libraries in for DART remote testing
When running DARTTest-Software (commercial) tests through undermine, you'll notice that there is a local Python installation in tyrant/tybase/PythonLocal with a symbolic link to the python binary in tyrant/tybase
This is where you'll need to put 3rd party python libraries that are used by your undermine scripts (Ex. PyCrypto)
However, when using remote_commit, this PythonLocal folder you've taken the time to setup in tyrant/tybase/PythonLocal is ignored. While the output of remote_commit makes it seem like your local PythonLocal folder is being uploaded/sync'd on the server, in reality the PythonLocal folder in your tybase folder on the remote testing server is deleted and re-created using a .zip file (which by default won't have your 3rd party libraries in it).
To add your 3rd party python libraries to your tybase PythonLocal folder on the remote server, you'll need to modify the .zip file being used to install a clean copy of Python. This zip file is located in your local tyworkflow folder:
/tyworkflow/media/tybase/src/tybase/palantir/installer/platforms/linux/x86_64/Python27.zip
Make alterations to your local copy of Python27.zip. Then use remote_commit to sync, and you'll update the remote copy. Now, all future rsync commands will install your new copy of Python2.7, with your 3rd party libraries in the Lib folder.
This is the only way I've found to use 3rd party python libraries through DARTTest-Software (commercial) when using test plans (remote_commit)
Also, the version of GLIBC on the remote server is 2.12. Make sure your 3rd party python libraries are built accordingly.
